Anne HarrisFriday 1:30am - Life as a Faculty Member

Dr. Anne F. Harris is professor and vice president for academic affairs at DePauw University. She holds her B.A. in art history and classical languages from Agnes Scott College, where she became a Mortar Board member. She earned her masters and Ph.D. in art history at the University of Chicago. She has been at DePauw for 21 years and in July she will become vice president for academic affairs and dean of Grinnell College. Her work in academic affairs has focused largely on nurturing intiatives, developing new relationships and creating key partnerships, like faculty development plans for inclusive excellence and faculty workshops on race, dialogue and community building. She has supported cocurricular centers at DePauw dedicated to media, management and entrepreneurship, technology, ethics, and community engagement through the creation of a Centers Council.
